About the role
This position supports US Army programs and focuses on financial, logistics, engineering, technical support, and/or management of advanced networks for military vehicles and equipment. It involves supporting multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the logistical aspects of product life cycles, including coordination or provisioning of samples, and the minimization of obsolescence.
- Develop and implement logistics program activities including ILS, technical documentation, RAM, provisioning, etc.; resolve logistics problems; and compile data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistic activities.
- Perform system life-cycle cost analysis and develop component studies.
- Plan, organize, and execute logistics support activities such as maintenance planning, repair analysis, and test equipment recommendations.
- Stay informed of logistics technology advances, Government policies, and apply them to improve logistics processes.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- A BA/BS from an accredited college or university in Operations management, supply chain management, or related degree with 7 to 8 years of experience as a logistician within the DOD environment. 6 additional years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
- One academic year at an accredited college or university in an accredited preferred degree related post-secondary program for 1 year of experience.
