Senior Loan Adjuster

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising, mentoring, and developing a team of Loan Adjusters through ongoing coaching, training, and performance management.
• Monitoring team productivity, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and fostering a positive, high-performing work environment.
• Serving as the escalation point for complex member accounts and making recommendations regarding repayment options, repossessions, foreclosures, legal action, and charge-offs.
• Collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams to improve processes, support departmental initiatives, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Preparing reports, attending legal proceedings when necessary, and ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent, with experience in collections, loan servicing, or a related financial services environment.
• Previous supervisory experience is strongly preferred, and a bachelor's degree may be considered in place of related work experience.
• An effective leader with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills who is comfortable coaching employees, managing competing priorities, and making sound decisions in challenging situations.
• A commitment to regulatory compliance and exceptional member service.
• A valid driver's license, as this position may require occasional travel throughout the state, sometimes with short notice.
