Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, community events, and other scheduled outings
• Provide courteous, attentive, and supportive assistance to residents entering and exiting the vehicle
• Coordinate pick-up and drop-off times to ensure timely and efficient transportation services
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the transport vehicle by performing regular inspections and reporting any necessary maintenance needs
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle
• Communicate effectively with staff and residents to ensure smooth scheduling and positive experiences
• Assist with loading and unloading mobility devices such as wheelchairs and walkers as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid and clear driver's license in the state of Pennsylvania
• No major traffic violations over the previous 5 years
• Familiarity with roads in the service area
• CPR certification (Preferred)

Pay

$15.00/hour
