About the role

Truewood by Merrill, New Bern is currently seeking Resident Experience Partners to support residents within our beautiful community. Ideal candidates are passionate about working with seniors and dedicated to supporting their wellness journey.

Responsibilities

  • Support smooth, efficient community operations by providing high-level customer service to residents and assisting community team members.
  • Assist with social activities and deliver activities that cater to diverse interests of residents.
  • Provide assistance with daily living activities such as dressing, meals, laundry, and general care.
  • Handle customer-driven requests for services and coordinate their delivery.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organize the dining room and common areas.
  • Perform maintenance tasks to keep the building and its furnishings in good condition.
  • Ensure the front office area is neat and organized, and greet visitors and answer the phone.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a college degree or equivalent preferred.
  • One or two years of related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • Senior living experience is preferred but not required.
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
  • A valid drivers license is required (commercial driver’s license, as applicable).

Qualifications

  • Must be able to perform regular use of a computer.
  • Regularly lift up to 20 lbs, bend, or reach.

Pay

Actual pay rate within the stated pay range is determined based on relevant factors in compliance with state and local wage laws. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire.

Schedule

Hours vary depending on department needs and may include evenings and weekends.
