Driver

• Provides timely and courteous transportation for residents to and from various activities.
• Assists disabled passengers into and out of vehicles.
• Sets up and secures passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trips.
• Safely operates radio, cell phone, or pager to communicate with base station or other vehicles in case of disruptions.
• Maintains all community vehicles in good working condition.
• Cleans and services vehicles with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Assists with vehicle registration and license plates renewal processes.
• Inspects and documents vehicle condition on a monthly and per trip basis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Current commercial driver's license (CDL) may be required with an acceptable driving record in accordance with Federal Department of Transportation regulations.
• Experience in customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
• Knowledgeable of all safety precautions and compliance with safety measures.
• Competent in organization, time management skills, and handling multiple priorities.
