About the role

The Wealshire, a family-oriented dementia/Alzheimer’s care company, seeks an experienced Dietary Cook at their Bloomington care facility.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook meals for residents following dietary guidelines. - Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met. - Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. - Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and menu ideas.

Requirements

- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role. - Valid Food Handlers Permit. - Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents and staff.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous experience in a professional kitchen setting. - Knowledge of nutrition and meal planning.

Skills

- Proficient in using cooking equipment and appliances. - Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain high standards of quality. - Good interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with residents and colleagues.

Benefits
