Qualifications
- New Jersey Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) License required.
- Immediate ability to sit for exam / receive through reciprocity could be substituted to current license.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and manage survey activities to determine precise locations, measurements, and boundary lines for construction, mapmaking, and land division projects.
- Conduct record research by analyzing prior survey evidence, deeds, maps, and indices to gather essential project data.
- Supervise field crew operations, ensuring accurate data collection, detailed record-keeping, and adherence to project scope and timelines.
- Review and validate fieldwork, including traverse notes, computations, and construction layout records, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Prepare and sign boundary line opinions, legal descriptions, and survey maps, ensuring compliance with state and company standards.
- Utilize advanced survey technologies and software, such as Civil 3D, Infinity, Captivate, and AutoCAD, to create precise survey deliverables.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards in all field operations, ensuring a safe work environment for the team.
- Monitor project budgets and timelines, ensuring efficient resource management and client satisfaction.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering professional growth and technical expertise.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- 10+ years of surveying experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in survey software, including Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and coordinate geometry programs.
- Strong mathematical foundation in algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally and perform duties in varying outdoor conditions, including challenging terrain and extreme weather.

Pay
The position has a salary range of $100,000 to $120,000. Your offer would be based on your experience, skills, and fit for the role.
