Senior Legislative Analyst

About the role

The Senior Legislative Analyst is responsible for providing expert analysis and advice on legislative issues impacting the organization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on legislative trends and developments
• Prepare comprehensive reports and briefings for senior management
• Engage with legislators and stakeholders to gather insights and feedback
• Develop policy recommendations based on analysis and data

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in legislative analysis or policy development
• Strong analytical and writing skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Political Science, Public Policy, or related field preferred
• Experience working with legislative bodies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of legislative processes and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
