About the role
The Legislative Analyst is responsible for providing expert analysis and recommendations to inform legislative decisions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on complex policy issues
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for legislators and staff
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data and insights
- Advise on potential legislative solutions and impacts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in legislative analysis or policy work
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with legislative databases and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
