Senior Legal Counsel

This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on business operations, contract negotiations, and regulatory compliance
• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements and internal policies
• Identify legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential exposure
• Manage external legal counsel on complex matters for cost-effective outcomes
• Monitor legal changes and advise on necessary adjustments for the business
• Develop and deliver legal training on compliance requirements and topics
• Support litigation and dispute resolution with legal research and documentation

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the bar in good standing in at least one relevant jurisdiction
• 8-10 years of post-qualification experience as a practicing attorney, preferably in a multinational corporation
• Demonstrated experience in commercial law, contract negotiation, and regulatory compliance
• Understanding of international business law and cross-border transactions
• Proficiency in English
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively

Pay

$130,000 – $180,000 annually
