About the role
Infosys Ltd. (NYSE INFY) is seeking a senior attorney to join the commercial transactions group of our Legal department, with responsibility for the Americas Sales region.
Responsibilities
- negotiating various agreements with external clients and vendors;
- providing legal and business counsel to internal clients to resolve issues;
- managing external counsel (as applicable);
- ensuring that all agreements are concluded in accordance with Infosys’ corporate risk parameters and policies;
- working or leading various department and organization projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ legal work experience after law school graduation;
- JD from an accredited law school; with strong academic performance;
- Must be a member of a State Bar;
- Blend of relevant law firm and in-house experience; preferably transactional IP/IT focused with at least 4 years of prior in-house experience;
- Experience with litigation (including mediation and arbitration); responding to complaints; drafting settlement agreements; etc.;
- Experience with state and federal government contracting, including public sector procurement terms and compliance requirements (e.g., FAR/DFARS and state/local government contracting provisions), preferred.
Qualifications
- Excellent drafting skills: demonstrated experience with commercial transactions, specifically the drafting and negotiation of, but not limited to, the following types of agreements:
- complex master outsourcing services and technology-related agreements;
- software licensing agreements;
- software reseller and services agreements;
- sponsorship and marketing agreements;
- teaming agreements;
- RFPs and RFIs;
- settlement agreements;
- non-disclosure agreements;
- statement of work(s);
- subcontractor agreements;
- cloud hosted services agreements.
Skills
- Project Management Skills - experience overseeing and closing multiple projects and transactions simultaneously;

Pay
Approx. 15 – 20% - business travel may be required
Estimated annual compensation range for candidate based in the below locations will be CA / CO / IL / MA / MD / MN / NJ / NY / VT / WA
- Min : USD 141738 p.a.
- Max : USD 166750 p.a.
Schedule
Remote flexibility, with occasional travel for litigation and stakeholder meetings
