About the role

Join Wells Fargo's Global Payments & Liquidity (GPL) organization, a key player in the firm’s commitment to specialized industry coverage and differentiated solutions. This role is part of a strategic initiative to support For-Profit Healthcare segment clients with $500MM-$1B in annual revenue. The Senior Lead Treasury Consultant will act as a trusted advisor, setting direction, elevating solution quality, and mentoring junior consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, enterprise-level discovery engagements with clients and prospects to assess payment flows, liquidity structures, working capital dynamics, and treasury operations.
  • Guide strategic conversations with executive and operational stakeholders using benchmarking, data analysis, and ROI-based recommendations.
  • Partner with Product Solution Specialists to design integrated, scalable treasury and payments solutions aligned to client operating models.
  • Deliver executive-level finalist presentations and strategic recommendations grounded in client insight.
  • Provide oversight through implementation handoff to ensure client satisfaction, solution integrity, and revenue realization.
  • Lead, mentor, and partner with junior Treasury Management Consultants, providing guidance on discovery, solution development, client messaging, and prioritization.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers to shape market strategy, identify opportunities, and win new business.
  • Maintain strong command of risk, profitability frameworks, compliance standards, and advisory governance.
  • Represent GPL in internal initiatives, strategic projects, and client or industry forums.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Treasury Management Sales experience, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience leading client-facing discovery, solutioning, and finalist presentations with executive and operational teams.
  • Experience supporting healthcare organizations across A/R, A/P, payments, receivables operations, or treasury functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes and provide strategic guidance within client and internal matrixed environments.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable client recommendations.
  • Experience guiding, coaching, or informally leading other consultants or analysts.
