Senior Lead, Capital Markets Strategy & Execution
Responsibilities
Lead High-Priority Initiatives: Own Capital Markets strategic projects from problem definition through to full implementation.
Cross-Functional Bridge: Coordinate and drive execution across Risk, Finance, Legal, Tech, Operations, and external counterparties.
Strategic Playbooks: Translate broad leadership goals into structured workplans, executive recommendations, and actionable implementation roadmaps.
Rating Agency, Investor, & Bank Strategy:
- Institutional Preparedness: Support strategic rating agency initiatives, including onboarding, diligence readiness, methodology/structuring mapping, and credit narrative formulation.
- Counterparty Management: Help manage relationships across investment banks, institutional investors, and rating agencies.
Market Development & Secondary Liquidity:
- Liquidity Project Management: Drive initiatives focused on tracking and improving secondary market liquidity across relevant ABS shelves.
- Develop frameworks to monitor market liquidity, investor feedback, and provide updates and recommended actions to the executive team.
Scale, Automation, & AI Innovation:
- Process Automation: Identify and implement workflows to automate reporting, cash flow analysis (Intex), surveillance, and executive dashboards.
- AI Roadmap: Partner with internal technology teams to build and scale safe, AI-enabled Capital Markets workflows.
Requirements
- Experience: 7+ years in capital markets, structured finance, securitization, investment banking, corporate strategy, or a related financial services field.
- Domain Expertise: Strong mastery of structured finance and debt funding concepts (ABS, warehouse facilities, forward flow, private credit, and debt documentation).
- Asset Class Knowledge: Deep experience with consumer finance/fintech lending platforms and consumer ABS asset classes (e.g., personal loans, auto loans, credit cards, BNPL).
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Intex, cash flow models, collateral performance analysis, and strong overall financial modeling capabilities.
- Leadership & Drive: Proven ability to independently lead complex, ambiguous initiatives and drive cross-functional alignment in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
Qualifications
The pay ranges for New York-based hires are commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates working in locations other than New York may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. Compensation Range for New York Based Hires $150,000—$225,000 USD
