Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Finance Analyst within the Corporate and Investment Markets Chief Finance Officer (CIB Markets CFO) team. The Markets CFO team provides strategic advisory, supported by data and analysis, to the Markets Division Leadership that will drive growth, create efficiency, and define strategy. This Analyst will provide support to the Commodities, Municipal, XVA, and Markets Administration lines of businesses within the Markets division reporting to the LOB CFO.
Posting location: 30 Hudson Yards, New York, NY. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. This position is not eligible for VISA sponsorship and is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth financial reporting and analysis
- Ensure proper financials preparation for operating reviews, reports, financial ownership in business cases, and ad-hoc analyses
- Participate in financial forecasting, research, and reporting
- Engage directly with leaders across all aspects of the business, including revenue, balance sheet, capital, headcount, and expenses
- Leverage enterprise AI tools to facilitate data-driven decision-making
- Demonstrate intellectual curiosity with appropriate skepticism to review, challenge, enhance, and transform current processes; take ownership to push things forward and make progress
Requirements
- 7+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, including financial metrics analysis
- Ability to prepare visual and verbal data trend presentations for management reporting
- Knowledge and understanding of report analysis, with emphasis on accuracy and storytelling with supporting details
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and work within a team to identify and resolve problems
- Knowledge of Wells Fargo's balance sheet and product offerings
- Experience with forecasting tools such as Essbase and Dodeca
- Experience with disciplines such as accounting, group controllers, corporate treasury, regulatory capital, financial planning and analysis, and/or product control
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
- Knowledge of PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, and AI tools
