About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Laboratory Manager to lead a high-volume, high-complexity clinical laboratory. This role is responsible for overseeing daily laboratory operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving process improvements, and leading laboratory teams to achieve operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day laboratory operations and performance
• Lead, mentor, and develop laboratory supervisors and staff
• Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, and federal/state laboratory regulations
• Drive quality, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor staffing, workflow, and operational metrics
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure exceptional service

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field
• 5+ years of laboratory leadership experience in a high-volume, high-complexity testing environment
• Medical Technologist certification (ASCP, NCA, AAB, or equivalent) required
• Florida Supervisor License required
• Strong knowledge of CAP, CLIA, and laboratory regulatory standards
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Pay

$97,100 – $148,700 + $7,500 Annual Bonus
