Senior Knowledge Manager

Responsibilities

• Leads the implementation of the Knowledge Management strategy and coordinates the maintenance of information repositories across multi-functional departments.
• Validates the integrity of shared data and authorizes KM process updates to maintain organizational alignment.
• Maintains KM performance metrics and leads internal teams in achieving complex information-sharing goals.
• Executes strategic KM oversight for logistics and sustainment operations across the Indo-Pacific theater.
• Validates the accuracy of theater-specific data repositories and leads internal assessments to ensure alignment with theater-level reporting standards.
• Collaborates with mission partners to proactively identify and resolve information bottlenecks before they impact regional mission readiness.
• Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Business, Management, Information Science, or a related field.
• 12+ years of position relevant experience.
• Experience in formal KM oversight and acting as a functional lead for information sharing.

Preferred Qualifications

• CKM or PMP certification.
• Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, or other enterprise collaboration tools in a DoD environment.
• Knowledge of USSOCOM operational data standards.

Physical Requirements

• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
