Responsibilities
- Provide recommendations for the development of Knowledge Management (KM) systems by designing and implementing SharePoint process improvement solutions.
- Affirm alignment of processes and technology to enable information sharing by analysts and organizations for analytic production.
- Utilize centralized and peripheral databases, content management, records management systems, and shape workflow and processes.
- Compile reports on performance and usage metrics and future requirements for existing knowledge management capabilities, including search, discovery, storage and retrieval of data, and formal production and taskings.
- Disseminate intelligence products across separate networks and portals.
- Prepare for Government review and approval, a KM SOP in accordance with Army FM 6-01.1, guiding KM efforts within the organization and assisting in implementing the KM structure, practices, and governance model.
- Generate position papers containing analyses assessing the effectiveness of current organizational SOPs and processes, as discussed during the KM Working Group (KMWG).
- Facilitate the KMWG using various techniques and tools to enable collaborative work; disseminate information received to individuals or the entire working group, and gather information needed from the group.
- Publish minutes to the SharePoint KM portal site and in emails to designated Government personnel from the KMWG, and provide recommendations for the next KMWG.
- Conduct surveys, interviews, and report results to share knowledge both within and outside the organization, as well as vertically and horizontally.
- Implement the KM practice by leveraging SharePoint as enabling technology, where applicable. Provide formats and recommendations for managing and using SharePoint from prioritized KMWG recommendations, facilitating knowledge sharing within the organization.
- Provide status updates to the client, including actual versus planned task progress, schedule status, surveys/interviews conducted, meetings attended, issues, and recommendations.
- Provide CI Operations Trends and Strategic Communications support, involving the review of operations files, exchange of analyses, conduct of operational data queries, collation and organization of operational activity data, articulation of operational leads, gaps, vulnerabilities, and trends.
Requirements
- High School Diploma: 20 years of relevant experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
- Associates Degree: 16 years of relevant experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
- Bachelor's Degree: 14 years of relevant experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
- Masters Degree or higher: 12 years of relevant experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
- Security Plus certification.
- Completed a Site Collection Administration training course equivalent to Microsoft MS55033.
Qualifications
- Must have a current Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Skills
- Knowledge of SharePoint and its functionalities.
- Experience with KM systems and processes.
- Ability to analyze and assess organizational SOPs and processes.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in conducting operational data queries and trend analysis.
