About the role

The Senior Key Account Manager develops strong, sustainable relationships with assigned clients while providing global functional leadership for client programs and growth strategies. This role deeply understands the client’s organization—including business model, goals, strategies, key initiatives, and leadership—to drive business development and align BVCPS resources with client needs. The position delivers accurate “Health of Account” reports to Executive Leadership, ensures key metrics are met, and proactively manages issues. In partnership with PL and TS teams, the role sells new services to existing accounts to drive incremental growth and maintains full accountability for forecasting account revenue by product line and region.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute “Win Back” strategies to regain market share and improve client satisfaction.
  • Manage P&L for assigned accounts, including forecasting and budgeting.
  • Maintain regular client communication to align expectations, resolve issues, and drive engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to expand BVCPS service offerings within accounts.
  • Lead pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and RFP processes.
  • Share market, sourcing, and client insights with internal teams.
  • Monitor account health, risks, and opportunities.
  • Lead quarterly account reviews (SBRs) and facilitate client meetings, presentations, and events.
  • Maintain accurate account information in Salesforce.
  • Develop and manage a more enhanced portfolio for larger accounts, leading accounts more independently.
  • Engage at a higher level within the client organization and BVCPS (e.g., Executives, C-Suite).
  • Develop strategic initiatives to enhance the portfolio of accounts.
  • Directly responsible for the P&L of assigned accounts, including accurate forecasting and budgeting.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of technical regulations, standards, and compliance for consumer products.
  • Strong relationship building and client engagement skills.
  • Understanding of product development and sourcing processes.
  • Ability to translate technical information clearly.
  • Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Skilled in negotiation and service-based selling.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

  • 4-year college degree in business administration or related discipline; MBA preferred.
  • 7 years of related experience in a business environment, preferably in the service industry.
  • 7 years of experience in consumer products businesses.
  • 5 years of related supervisory experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of the above.

Pay

Compensation range: $100,000 - $130,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as location, education, experience, and skillset.

Schedule

Typically Monday through Friday, forty hours per week. Must be flexible to meet departmental needs and complete other projects as assigned.
