Senior Java Backend Engineer

About the Role

Drive internal Backend architecture standards and expertise. Improve software quality by reshaping legacy codebases. Own reliability and performance, identifying bugs and enhancing user experience. Mentor junior engineers, sharing best practices and leading by example. Collaborate with product and design teams to ensure clear requirements and successful execution. Communicate clearly and concisely across multiple time zones in a remote setting.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5-10+ years of Java development and backend engineering experience
• Expert proficiency in Java and experience with at least one additional backend and frontend language
• Experience improving legacy codebases and automated testing
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
