Senior Java Backend Engineer

This organization is renowned for its innovative solutions and commitment to employee growth. The Role Act as the internal Backend architecture expert, establishing and driving technical standards. Enhance software quality by strategically refactoring and modernizing legacy codebases. Ensure system reliability and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to improve user experience. Mentor junior engineers, fostering their development through guidance and best practices. Collaborate closely with product and design teams to translate requirements into successful executions. Be an exceptional communicator and collaborator, actively participating in code reviews and shared problem-solving within a distributed team operating across multiple time zones. What You'll Need A Bachelor's Degree. A minimum of 5 years, ideally 7-10+ years, of Java development and backend engineering experience. Expertise in Java, complemented by experience in at least one additional backend and one frontend language. Proven experience in improving and modernizing legacy codebases. Strong background in automated testing. In-depth knowledge and expertise in microservices architecture. Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
