Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end responsibility for complex and high-impact RfI and RfP processes for IT services, applications, and projects.
- Negotiate, draft, and finalize complex IT contracts with providers from the SHS IT provider portfolio.
- Lead and steer cross-functional, international RfP teams and ensure the execution of administrative and coordination tasks.
- Coach teams in defining clear and meaningful functional, technical, and commercial requirements.
- Ensure clearly defined statements of work and Service Level Agreements (SLA) and act as a quality gatekeeper for RfX documents.
- Drive bid evaluation, lead negotiations, and guide award decisions.
- Identify and coordinate compliance topics (e.g., data protection, cybersecurity, SaaS-specific requirements) throughout the entire sourcing and contract lifecycle and ensure their proper representation in contract content.
- Manage service level agreements between the service provider and the requisitioner, overseeing both operational and strategic topics.
- Lead contract implementations, trainings, and structured handovers to operational teams.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of RfP and contract templates, processes, and best practices.
Qualifications and Experience
- Held a completed degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Law, or a comparable field of study.
- Proven expertise in managing complex IT RfPs involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of IT sourcing and contracting processes, compliance topics in the context of IT services and applications, IT service models, and SLA frameworks.
- Extensive, long-standing professional experience and additional qualifications in this field but do not hold a university degree.
