Senior IT Portfolio Management Professional
About the role
The IT Portfolio Manager role is responsible for the oversight and management of EIP's business portfolio of technology tools. The role manages a portfolio of security-related investments (i.e., platforms, tools, applications) that align with the overall needs of EIP's mission and Humana's enterprise priorities.
Responsibilities
- Organize and prioritize investment of EIP technical solutions, projects, and programs based on the EIP Strategy, Strategic Roadmap, and available and prioritized Program- and Department-level budgets
- Work with EIP leaders to ensure the appropriate financial and organizational support is being allocated in support of these goals
- Lead and oversee the EIP budget for tool/application management, staffing, and vendor contracting
- May be responsible for reviewing or conducting audits of information security programs and projects
- Ensure that all EIP acquisitions, procurements, and outsourcing efforts address information security requirements consistent with EIP goals, policies and standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, finance, or business-related field OR 7 or more years combined experience combined across financial management, technical, and cybersecurity
- 2 or more years in project and/or program leadership experience
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations at the executive (VP/Director) level
- Experience leading special projects and producing metrics, measurements, and trend reports
- Consultative mindset: Finding the connections between strategy and initiatives, opportunities and impacts, and coaching teams through accounting for those complexities
- Proactive and highly detail-oriented individual
- Comfortable in weekly usage of ServiceNow PPM and Jira Align
Preferred Qualifications
- Complementary degrees or certifications such as MBA, Six Sigma, PMP
- Experience in an Agile environment, and/or going through an Agile or Lean Portfolio Management transformation
- Demonstrates ability to run large-scale, highly visible programs with responsibility for multiple project teams
Work Environment
- Remote/WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
- A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required. Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
- A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
- Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required
- Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Pay
$106,900 – $147,000 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based upon company and/or individual performance.
