Senior IT & InfoSec Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support IT and information security functions at 9fin
• Support 9fin’s hybrid IT estate utilizing JumpCloud & Google Workspace
• Understand and support a remote/hybrid workforce across six offices (London, Belfast, Hong Kong, Chile, Malaysia, New York)
• Support 9fin’s modern MDM via tools such as: JumpCloud, Google Workspace
• Support of 9fin’s physical IT assets (computers, etc.)
• This will include working closely with our key partners
• Support our strong SSO/SAML processes
• Support with endpoint security & patch management
• Information Security
• Aid in enforcing all information security policies, guidelines, documentation and processes across 9fin
• Aid the team in building buy-in with all 9finners that IT, Information Security and Compliance is a shared responsibility, key to the long-term success of 9fin
• Help maintain 9fin’s clean SOC2:Type2 posture
• Play a key part in determining the next steps in 9fin’s certification strategy
• Other Key Areas
• Helping to maintain compliance with UK GDPR and other data protection initiatives such as DORA, EU:AI Act and others, working closely with the Legal Affairs team
• Assistance in review of: Penetration testing, Vulnerability scans, Incident responses

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on experience across identity and device management
• Proven experience provisioning and managing devices at scale across Mac (and Windows) environments
• Strong understanding of SSO/SAML
• Tech strength across the stack
• Solid networking knowledge including experience with Fortinet (access points, switches, routers)
• Experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, or similar
• Experience with DLP and tools like NetSkope
• Understanding of SOC2 and ISO frameworks
• Genuine working knowledge of modern tools like Linear for service desk management and Vanta for GRC
• Interest in using AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini to improve work processes
