Senior IT Developer – SAP ABAP

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Partner with KION North America functional stakeholders and key users, along with other IT teams, in support of 17 Business Processes.
• Lead in the design, implementation, and execution of projects using SAP SD ABAP development in SAP ECC.
• Create and maintain programs and documentation in ERP development (SAP ABAP), system integration (SAP NetWeaver Process Integration), and EDI.
• Show strong knowledge of SAP ABAP development technologies, including Object Oriented Programming, and hands-on experience in core modules – FI, CO, SD, MM, PP, and WM.
• Have proven knowledge of interfaces, enhancements, workflow, user exits, BADIs, RFC, BAPI, SmartForms, and ALE/EDI & IDOCs.
• Work collaboratively with internal SAP team and subject matter experts to establish technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
• Have working knowledge of API development for ERP integration and SPAU/SPDD to support SAP upgrades.
• Show PP configuration knowledge as a plus.
• Demonstrate excellence in completing all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven ERP technical skills (SAP ABAP and SAPScript preferred).
• 5+ years of demonstrated ERP integration skills (XML, EDI, SAP NetWeaver PI, and General Web APIs).
• 3+ years of experience in a multi-site, multi-language manufacturing environment.
• Able to meet deadlines and successfully deliver on projects.
• SAP S/4 experience a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business Administration, or related field.
• SAP Certified Development Professional in a given ABAP area.
