Senior IT Data Analyst

The Role

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a key role in co-leading the design and development of data services that support our enterprise analytics platform. You will collaborate across the entire data lifecycle—identifying and defining data requirements, assisting in data model design, and delivering high-value data products to drive enterprise analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of experience in data analysis or data engineering
• Master’s degree with a minimum of three years of relevant experience

Expertise and Skills

• Strong expertise in capturing business requirements and translating them into effective data solutions
• Ability to define use cases and distill complex concepts for stakeholders
• Skilled at creating user stories and assessing the impact of changes to datasets and data models
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies with the ability to break down complex initiatives into manageable tasks
• Advanced SQL skills for analyzing and wrangling datasets to uncover actionable insights
• Experience with Snowflake, Copilot, PowerBI, Alation, Collibra, Power Designer, and Modeling is a plus
• Strong data analysis and profiling skills, with the ability to develop comprehensive validation scenarios
• Experience working with integrated enterprise data in cross-functional teams, evaluating alternative solutions and recommending optimal approaches
• Application of best practices in data management and data governance when designing and building data solutions
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, building relationships and conveying ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Passion for continuous learning to master new skills and stay informed about advancements in data analytics
