Senior Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze and convert datasets (CSV, JSON, XML, Excel) into Lua tables or scripts
• Validate and test Lua output to ensure successful ingestion into the SaaS platform
• Provide clear, reproducible reports and analysis to help answer business questions for IVF centers and our product team
• Collaborate with our product team to identify new application features that help IVF centers better understand their patient data
• Serve as Python Subject Matter Expert for the Data team
• Afford assistance with implementing quality controls and departmental standards to ensure quality standards, organizational expectations, and regulatory requirements
• Work with business leaders to identify data-driven opportunities for improvement
• Participate in client calls, manage expectations, and confidently guide clients through data review phase when needed
• Design, build, and maintain automated data pipelines, relational databases, and scalable reporting workflows
• Conduct deep-dive analyses, testing, and predictive modeling to drive product and operational decisions
• Design intuitive, self-serve business intelligence (BI) dashboards to serve as the source of truth for the organization

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and Lua
• High attention to detail, including experience with data validation techniques
• Precise and effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to understand the underlying needs of the business and drive impact in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• Expert-level SQL skills to extract, manipulate, and query complex datasets and managing large-scale data warehouses
• Mastery with BI tools like such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar to design dashboards and reports
• Advanced proficiency in Python and/or Lua for scripting, and automation
• Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and database architecture
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineering or Analyst role
• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or a related technical field
