Senior IT Business Analyst – Grant Management Systems
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external consultants.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for field consultants regarding application issues.
- Communicate issue status, resolutions, and updates to stakeholders.
- Manage and prioritize operational support requests and enhancement tickets in Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with vendor teams to resolve technical issues.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.
- Lead and mentor a team of business analysts.
- Delegate tasks and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Facilitate and lead business and technical requirement-gathering sessions.
- Maintain project documentation on the SharePoint site.
- Ensure process changes and decisions are documented and accessible.
- Support business requirements, user acceptance testing, end-user documentation, and training.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- 2+ years of experience working with grant management systems or government-funded programs.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership experience in cross-functional team environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Office.
- 5 years of experience with complex IT web applications within the past 5 years.
- 5 years of experience gathering and documenting business feedback and incorporating changes into current processes.
- 5 years of experience leading meetings, conducting training and information sessions, communicating with varied audiences, and preparing oral and written reports and presentations.
- 3 years of experience serving as a liaison between development teams and project managers or business clients in software development projects.
- 1 year of experience with Microsoft SharePoint.
- 1 year of experience with Azure DevOps, including creating User Stories and queries.
