About the Role

The IT Asset Management Analyst is responsible for monitoring adherence to best practices and global processes from internal customers and senior management. This role involves leading the development, enhancement, and implementation of global processes and procedures, coordinating the receiving, tracking, and documentation of all requests in support of IT global processes, with a focus on managing the organization's IT hardware assets and maintaining vendor relationships associated with asset accounts. Additionally, the analyst provides instruction and guidance to less senior team members on new tasks and assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee IT assets throughout their lifecycle, including forecasting, procurement, and inventory management.
  • Investigate, analyze, identify, and resolve problems, issues, or conditions involving asset management and governance.
  • Collaborate with procurement vendors to assist with asset acquisition, replacement, and disposal.
  • Forecast and maintain inventory required for IT projects and business-as-usual (BAU) operations.
  • Focus on operational and tactical activities on a daily basis.
  • Use advanced knowledge of professional concepts and company objectives to resolve moderately complex issues creatively and effectively.
  • Escalate complex issues and recommend potential solutions while following established escalation procedures.
  • Prepare and deliver informal and formal presentations to teams, departments, and other IT groups.
  • Assist in developing standards, processes, and procedures for the department.
  • Work independently with minimal instruction on day-to-day tasks and general guidance on new assignments.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Commitment to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities.
  • 3+ years of experience with asset management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong relationship-building and maintenance skills across IT teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and time-management skills.

Pay

Pay Range: $32 - $38/Hr. The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
