Senior IS Services Technician

About the role

Jordan’s is seeking a Senior IS Services Technician to provide advanced technical support for employees across our company information systems.

Responsibilities

• Responds to and completes employee requests for advanced levels of technical assistance in a timely manner
• Provides second-level escalation support to resolve more advanced problems
• Enters hardware and software problem and resolutions into the IS Services database
• Maintains a sufficient understanding of the commercial and custom written software applications used in the company
• Makes repairs and configurations for equipment and installs software as directed
• Maintains a sufficient understanding of the commercial and custom written software applications used in the company
• Creates new and modifies documentation for IS Services procedures for the IS Services Resolution Database
• Monitors and addresses open IS Services tickets daily
• Performs other functions or responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor

Requirements

• 3-5 years prior experience in the same or similar capacity
• Industry standard certifications are preferred but not required
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Intermediate/advanced computer skills
• Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English
• May be required to drive to other locations to perform work duties

Pay

Pay Range: $26.50 to $33.50 per hour

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
