About the role
As a Senior iOS Engineer at Lab49, you will play a critical role on key projects for our clients. Working in a collaborative and innovative project team with direct client-facing interactions, you will have the opportunity to apply your skills and expertise to design innovative applications that solve complex problems and enhance performance and productivity for our marquis clients. In this dynamic role, you will work within a dedicated team to enhance a flagship wealth management mobile platform for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, delivering new features, modernizing existing experiences, and driving continuous product innovation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI/UIKit, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend developers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM).
- Perform unit and integration testing to ensure application quality and stability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.
Requirements
- 8-10+ years of experience with native iOS development.
- Proficiency in Swift and experience with native iOS development tools such as Xcode, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
- Experience with GitLab.
- Familiarity with integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- A strong portfolio of released applications on the App Store.
- Experience with AppConfig community standards and enterprise app distribution.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for mobile applications.
- Knowledge and/or experience with the asset management (ideally wealth management) domain.
