Senior iOS Application Engineer - New York, NY (Hybrid Role)

About the role

Lead the design, development, enhancement, and support of enterprise-level iOS applications using .NET MAUI and C#. Architect and integrate secure, scalable, and high-performing mobile features, including connections to REST/GraphQL APIs, .NET backend, Azure services, SQL Server databases, and enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Build robust offline-first capabilities with local storage, data caching, background synchronization, retry logic, and conflict resolution.
• Implement Bluetooth/BLE and Zebra ZQ-series mobile printer integrations, including error handling and connection recovery.
• Integrate camera, barcode scanning, OCR, document capture, and identity verification features using .NET MAUI and native iOS APIs.
• Ensure secure authentication, data protection, and application hardening using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, Keychain, encryption, and certificate pinning.
• Develop responsive, accessible, and field-friendly user interfaces optimized for rapid operational workflows.
• Perform unit, integration, regression, UI, and performance testing; troubleshoot and resolve application, connectivity, and production issues.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated build and release processes, provisioning, code signing, telemetry, and production support.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Cybersecurity, and Infrastructure teams, and participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and release planning.
• Maintain technical documentation for developed features, integrations, deployment, and operational support.

Required Experience

• 10–15 years of hands-on enterprise mobile development.
• Proficiency with .NET MAUI, C#, XAML, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Bluetooth/BLE, Zebra SDK, Azure, and mobile security.

Preferred Experience

Background in public-sector/field workforce solutions, particularly those involving mobile printing, secure integration, and mission-critical operations.
