Senior Interventionist (Special Needs Teacher)

About the Role

Plan, prepare, and deliver individualized lessons based on each child's educational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
  • Conduct continuous assessments and maintain detailed student progress records.
  • Prepare teaching materials and adapt learning resources for different developmental levels.
  • Use evidence-based teaching methods and positive behavior support strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, and other professionals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports, attendance, and classroom records.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and home support strategies.
  • Participate in case conferences, team meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.
  • Support classroom management while maintaining a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Ensure confidentiality and safeguard the welfare of every child.
  • Perform other educational and administrative responsibilities assigned by the Institute.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5-10 years
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy
