Intervention Specialist / Special Education Teacher
About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Intervention Specialist / Special Education Teacher to support middle school students in a school-based setting in Columbus, Ohio.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized instruction and support to middle school students receiving special education services.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support student achievement in inclusive settings.
- Deliver specialized instruction and instructional accommodations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring records.
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Foster a positive, supportive, and structured learning environment.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local special education regulations.

- Schedule: 37.5 Hours Per Week
- Hrs: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
- Contract Length: 40 Weeks
- Start Date: August 17, 2026
Compensation
- Pay Rate: $53.00 per hour
- Estimated Weekly Gross: $1,987.50
- Overtime paid in accordance with applicable policies.
