Senior International Tax Manager

We’re seeking a hands-on, highly analytical International Tax Senior Manager to own U.S. international tax compliance, sophisticated modeling, and regional tax oversight for Canada.
Responsibilities
Lead compliance efforts for U.S. international tax matters
Own and manage end-to-end U.S. international tax compliance, including technical analysis, coordination with external advisors, and oversight of OneSource International processes (data inputs, model integration, output validation, and filings).
Partner with domestic and state tax teams to ensure alignment across the U.S. compliance process, including amended returns as needed.
Deliver high-quality work with Director-level oversight while driving day-to-day execution.
Develop And Enhance Tax Modeling Capabilities
Design, build, and maintain advanced Excel-based models, including enhancing existing frameworks and developing new models as business needs evolve, to forecast U.S. international tax positions and ETR drivers.
Support ASC 740 provision calculations, long-range planning, evaluation of tax strategies, and assessment of legislative/regulatory changes.
Collaborate closely with the tax provision team on accurate forward-looking modeling of U.S. international tax impacts, including cash taxes and ETR.
Contribute to Tax Planning & Controversy
Analyze and model proposed tax law changes and planning opportunities; deliver clear, actionable recommendations to partners.
Support U.S. international aspects of tax audits and controversy (IDR responses and analysis).
Serve as Tax Lead for Canada
Manage external advisors, monitor local developments, and partner with finance/business partners.
Support Tax Governance, Process Improvement & Team Development
Assist in strengthening tax governance frameworks, policies, controls, and documentation.
Improve and scale processes using AI automation, enhanced data workflows, and technology to boost efficiency and accuracy.
Mentor and develop team members on technical skills and execution.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Legal, and business teams on critical initiatives.
Requirements
Required CPA, MST, JD/LL.M. in Taxation, or equivalent
10+ years of international tax experience (Big 4 and/or large multinational), with deep U.S. international tax expertise
Strong knowledge of key U.S. tax rules affecting international operations (FTC, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, Subpart F) plus familiarity with ASC 740 (international components) and broader U.S. corporate tax principles
Advanced Excel modeling skills and experience building and managing complex and dynamic decision-driving models
Experience evaluating tax planning considerations and modeling financial impacts
Experience with OneSource (International Module) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
High attention to detail and proven ability to maintain accuracy across models, forecasts, and compliance deliverables
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated capacity to prioritize multiple priorities, mentor others, and communicate complex tax concepts to non-tax partners
Qualifications
Familiarity with transfer pricing concepts and their operational implications as well as Pillar Two
Passion for bringing to bear technology (AI, automation) to transform tax processes
