Senior Internal Communications Consultant
Position Summary
As a Senior Internal Communications Consultant for Group Benefits, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering high-level, cohesive storytelling that elevates Group Benefits’ identity, celebrates achievements, and clearly communicates strategy and performance across the enterprise. Reporting to the Head of Group Benefits Internal Communications, this role serves as a strategic thought partner to senior leaders and plays a central role in advancing enterprise-ready narratives that position Group Benefits as a trusted, high-performing organization at the forefront of Guardian’s transformation.

Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver cohesive Group Benefits communications packages aligned to enterprise strategy, performance priorities, and Guardian’s Purpose and Values
- Help lead narrative development for Group Benefits milestones, successes, and transformation progress, ensuring consistent messaging across channels
- Help manage executive communication and support how Group Benefits’ leader shows up across channels
- Support major organization-wide communications, including town halls, leadership updates, and enterprise visibility moments
- Execute communications from concept through execution and performance analysis
- Identify opportunities to simplify, elevate, and connect communications across programs and initiatives
- Contribute to measurement and insights that assess effectiveness of storytelling and message clarity
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of internal communications experience, preferably in a complex or highly regulated environment
- Demonstrated strength in enterprise storytelling and executive messaging
- Excellent writing, editing, and narrative-building skills
- Experience supporting senior leaders with high-visibility communications
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
- Experience with social media a plus

Pay
$103,450.00 - $169,960.00
Schedule
The primary location for this position is Boston of New York. Travel 15% travel may be required for this position.
