About the role

Polkinghorn Group Architects, Inc. is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join the dynamic PGA team in Austin, Texas. Our office environment fosters creativity, collaboration, and innovation. Responsibilities

- Work closely with the team to coordinate and manage all facets of the interior design process of projects. - Coordinate with clients to understand and translate their vision, goals, and objectives into solid design concepts within budget, and relevant to the architectural setting. - Utilize artistic, aesthetic, and technical skills to ensure quality standards are maintained in the selection, specification, and procurement of FF&E. - Execute the design with an innate style that is both functional and unique. - Engage in creative thinking to create finish boards and graphic presentations for clients. - Display meticulous attention to detail and have the capacity to multi-task.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a CIDA-accredited university. - 5+ years of professional experience leading high-quality interiors projects of varying complexity and scope. Healthcare-related experience is a plus. - Understanding and wide knowledge base of finishes, fixtures, furnishings, and design trends. - Experience with the production of Construction Documents and Construction Administration responsibilities. - Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with other designers, consultants, contractors, and clients. - Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch-Up, Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, Photoshop, and Excel.

- Self-motivated and detail-oriented. - Capable of adapting to changing client needs and internal priorities.

Skills

- Strong organizational skills. - Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch-Up, Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, Photoshop, and Excel.
