Senior Interior Designer
We are seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead projects from concept through construction completion. This individual will evaluate and solve design challenges across a variety of project types and sizes while serving as a key contributor to project success. The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of design leadership, technical expertise, and client management skills.
About the role
You will collaborate closely with internal project teams, consultants, and clients to deliver innovative, functional, and highly detailed design solutions. Projects include high-tech campuses, government facilities, industrial environments, clean rooms, laboratories, and corporate office spaces, with approximately 75-80% of current work focused on industrial and office projects. These projects require a balance of creative design thinking and technical expertise, offering the opportunity to work on highly detailed, design-driven environments from concept through construction.

Work Environment
- Hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed interior design concepts and solutions
- Establish project design criteria and functional requirements
- Lead interior design project teams through all project phases
- Present design concepts and solutions to clients and stakeholders
- Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams
- Inspire and mentor junior staff members
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables
- Balance multiple projects simultaneously, ranging in size and complexity
- Produce compelling digital presentations and design storytelling materials
- Ensure project goals, deadlines, and quality standards are achieved
Requirements
Must Have
- 10-15 years of professional interior design experience
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
- Experience leading projects from design through construction completion
- Strong client-facing and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Revit
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of IBC and accessibility codes
Nice to Have
- NCIDQ certification
- Commercial interior design experience
- Experience with industrial, laboratory, clean room, or high-tech projects
- Experience working on government or aerospace-related facilities
- Previous mentoring or team leadership experience
- Advanced graphic design, visualization, and presentation skills

Pay
The pay range for this position is $100,000 - $110,000 per year.
