The studio values innovation, professionalism, and strong client relationships.Role Description The Senior Interior Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ormond Beach, FL. This position is responsible for leading projects from initial concept through construction and installation, including client consultations, space planning, design development, and preparation of detailed drawings and specifications. Day-to-day tasks include creating mood boards and material palettes, selecting FF&E, coordinating with architects and contractors, and overseeing design documentation for permitting and construction. The Senior Interior Designer will manage project timelines and budgets, guide junior team members, and ensure that all deliverables meet company standards for design quality and technical accuracy. Regular on-site visits, vendor meetings, and client presentations are integral to this role.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Architecture skills, with the ability to integrate aesthetics, function, and building requirements.Candidates should possess advanced Space Planning skills, including layout optimization, circulation planning, and adjacency studies for various project types.Candidates should possess expertise in Construction Drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details suitable for permits and contractor coordination.Candidates should possess comprehensive FF&E skills, including sourcing, specification, and coordination of furniture, fixtures, equipment, and finishes.Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and presentation tools.Strong project management capabilities, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams.Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to present concepts and respond to feedback professionally.Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field, with several years of experience in a senior or lead design role.Knowledge of building codes, accessibility requirements, and industry regulations relevant to interior projects.
