Senior Interior Designer

About the role

This role is responsible for the primary objective of leading interior design projects from concept to completion. The position owns the full design scope, including space planning, material selection, and client presentations, and works closely with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented designer with a passion for residential or commercial interiors and a track record of delivering high-quality, client-focused solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, and material palettes to clients.
• Manage key relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure project alignment and timely delivery.
• Own the core design process, including space planning, furniture selection, and custom detailing.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as project management and procurement, to streamline workflows and resolve design challenges.
• Identify and pursue new opportunities for business growth, such as expanding service offerings or targeting new client segments.

Requirements

• Core background experience in interior design, with a portfolio demonstrating residential or commercial projects.
• Secondary experience in project management, vendor coordination, or construction administration.
• Proficiency in key design capabilities, such as space planning, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills to engage clients and stakeholders effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Specific niche experience in high-end residential, hospitality, or adaptive reuse projects.
• An established industry or geographic network in the Denver/Littleton area.
• Experience with design tools, systems, or processes such as Studio Designer, Houzz Pro, or LEED certification.
