Senior Intelligence Technical Editor / Reports Editor

Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with analysts, fellow editors, and web developers to ensure all analytic products conform to established templates, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and agency-specific publication standards.
- Provide editorial support to analysts producing written assessments, ensuring clarity, logic, consistency, and adherence to analytic tradecraft principles.
- Independently edit, design, and manage the content of finished multimedia intelligence publications.
- Prepare and post finalized products to external-facing platforms in accordance with dissemination protocols.
- Review intelligence products for grammar, punctuation, syntax, structure, and narrative coherence.
- Maintain consistency and readability across diverse audiences, from tactical operators to senior policymakers.
Required Experience
- At least two years of experience using desktop publishing tools, basic graphics techniques, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop, HTML, XML, and Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated experience ensuring compliance with Intelligence Community Directives and intelligence/investigative publication standards.
- Proven ability to maintain consistency, clarity, and readability across complex analytic content.
Required Security Clearance
Must have a current TS/SCI and if required, pass a polygraph after being hired.
Education & Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma and 20+ years of relevant experience, with at least some experience within the last two years.
- Associate’s Degree and 16+ years of relevant experience, with at least some experience within the last two years.
- Bachelor’s Degree and 14+ years of relevant experience, with at least some experience within the last two years.
- Master’s Degree and 12+ years of relevant experience, with at least some experience within the last two years.

Pay Range
$105,300.00 - $190,350.00
