About the role
This position will provide technical development expertise supporting Trulieve’s integration environment and development responsibilities. The Sr. Integration Engineer will work on SAP Integration Suite, Cloud Integration, and SAP API Management projects from design to interface development, ensuring corporate data flows between external and internal applications. Responsibilities include monitoring and supporting existing and new interface developments, writing code according to specifications, and collaborating with infrastructure and architectural teams to meet company service level standards and roadmap requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop interfaces based on SAP Integrations Suite, Cloud Integration, Open Connectors, B2B, SAP BTP Advanced Event Mesh, and SAP API Management.
- Manage integration projects and subprojects of global SAP S/4HANA implementations.
- Integrate cloud platforms and applications (SAP, SuccessFactors, Concur, Employee Central Payroll, etc.), Point of Sales systems, and eCommerce platforms (preferably Magento).
- Consult clients on integration strategy and architecture.
- Assist with project development activities to ensure delivered systems are designed for sustainability and long-term support, with a focus on post-implementation.
- Work with OData Services, Fiori Apps, BTP Services, and BTP Apps.
- Manage small to mid-scale projects, defining deliverables and scope for new or existing applications and interfaces, including S/4HANA to S/4HANA and SAP to non-SAP systems.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to gather requirements, design, develop, and configure repository objects, and recommend integration tool maintenance.
- Prepare detailed technical specifications and test plans.
- Monitor application maintenance notifications for research and updates.
- Create development estimates, technical design documents, execute unit and functional test plans, and perform code reviews.
- Develop and test custom objects for interfaces, data conversions, workflows, and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production support issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of combined IT and SAP experience, including:
- 4+ years of middleware software systems, SAP Integration Suite, and its components (CPI development, API Development, Groovy Scripts).
- SAP BTP Advanced Event Mesh, XML, Java, ABAP, and XSLT mapping of data in various formats.
- Network protocols: Ethernet, TCP/IP, HTTP, SFTP, FTPs, AS2, REST API, SOAP.
- Understanding of cloud systems (PAAS, IAAS, SAAS).
- Java, JavaScript, technical expertise with reporting, RFCs, BAPIs.
- Experience integrating multiple cloud systems.
- ABAP Proxies, Alert Monitoring, ALE Configuration, RFC, Idoc, JMS adapters, SOAP, REST, Web Services, OData Services.
- Experience with ABAP Workbench tools (ABAP Dictionary, ABAP Editor, Area Menus, SAP OData Services).
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Experience with other BTP services (e.g., Datasphere, Smart Data Integration) is a plus.
- AI skills are desired.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage all levels, including management and retail partners.
- Outstanding organizational skills, prioritization, and attention to detail.
