Senior Integration Developer

About the role

As a Senior Integration Developer, you will work with our growing DevSecOps practice developing APIs and integration capabilities to connect data, services, and systems to help our customers achieve their mission. We are looking for candidates with experience with cloud platform services, understanding business requirements, and implementing complex integrations.

Responsibilities

• Understand the needs of stakeholders and convey this to developers.
• Test and examine code written by others and analyze results.
• Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
• Identify technical problems, perform root cause analysis, and develop software updates and fixes.
• Develop APIs, microservices, and integrations using a broad range of software programming tasks to ensure functional systems integrations.
• Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate API and integration projects.
• Advise technical teams on performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring, and other operational concerns of integration solutions on Anypoint Platform.
• Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate functional and non-functional requirements into integration interfaces and implementations.
• Create and provide technical documentation that explains upcoming or existing integrations to non-technical individuals.
• Document as-is state of the environment, perform a gap analysis, and produce artifacts that articulate options and recommendations.
• Act as an individual contributor and mentor more junior team members.
• Engineer and implement solutions and provide recommendations for continuous improvement for the services provided.
• Present regular status updates and provide cross-training to other team members.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance.
• BS Degree in an IT field OR BS in a non-IT field and 2 years related IT experience.
• 5 years of experience with one or more clouds (i.e., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• 5 years of experience with Git SCM providers such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket.
• 5 years of experience with one or more programming or scripting languages.
• 5 years of experience with one or more integration technologies, such as MuleSoft.
• Experience developing API Management solutions and microservices.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.
• AWS Solution Architect Associate certification.
• Azure Developer Associate certification.
• MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect - Level 1.
• MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect - Level 1.
• 5 years of application development experience in an Agile environment.
• Experience implementing Docker containers and utilizing platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Experience designing, implementing, and documenting APIs.
• Experience utilizing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Pipelines, CircleCI, TravisCI.
• Experience implementing automated testing frameworks to test APIs and integrations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
