Senior Insurance Product Development Analyst (General Liability/Commercial) (hybrid/remote)
Responsibilities
- Review state and national laws, insurance department bulletins and regulations, and case law for impact on both the current ISO products and our insurers procedures.
- Leverage insurance expertise and research skills to provide timely, thoughtful responses to insurer inquiries over a wide range of insurance topics.
- Develop policy language and manual rules that provide valuable insurance enhancements and guide insurers in issuing and rating policies.
- Learn to develop and present items to panels of insurers on emerging trends.
- Through collaboration with others, identify potential revisions and solutions to bring product revisions to market.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Verisk including the Law Department, Government Relations and Actuarial, inviting perspectives, contributions, and partnerships within the team, the unit, the company, our customers and business partners.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent insurance experience with a minimum of at least two years P&C insurance experience involving analyzing and development of forms, rules, and/or rating.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organization, research and analytic skills.
- Ability to both work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
- Knowledge of ISO commercial general liability insurance line procedures is a plus.
- CPCU exam study or completion is a plus.
