Senior Insurance Defense Attorney

An established litigation firm is seeking a senior attorney to join its insurance defense practice in Philadelphia. This role is well-suited to an experienced litigator who is comfortable managing a caseload independently while also contributing to team matters.

Pay

$130,000 - $160,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense litigation matters from intake through resolution
• Handle depositions, motions, and court appearances
• Develop case strategy and work directly with insurer clients
• Mentor and collaborate with junior attorneys as needed
• Take primary responsibility for assigned matters while contributing to team-based cases

Requirements

• Approximately 7–10 years of experience in general insurance defense litigation
• Active admission to practice law in Pennsylvania
• Strong litigation, research, and writing skills
• Ability to manage matters independently and meet court deadlines
• Comfort working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
