About the role

A highly respected and growth-oriented insurance organization is seeking a Senior Insurance Compliance Manager to join its Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management function. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions while supporting key initiatives related to rate and form filings, regulatory audits, corporate governance, and enterprise risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and coordinating state insurance regulatory filings, including rate, rule, form, licensing, and corporate governance submissions

  • Drafting, reviewing, and updating policy forms, endorsements, notices, and related regulatory documentation

  • Monitoring regulatory developments and partnering with business stakeholders to implement necessary compliance changes

  • Preparing responses to regulatory inquiries, objections, complaints, and market conduct examinations

  • Leading compliance monitoring activities, risk assessments, and audit readiness initiatives

  • Supporting the development and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and training programs

  • Participating in corporate governance, business continuity, and data security initiatives

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate operational and regulatory risks

  • Serving as a key compliance resource for business partners across the organization

Requirements

  • 3-4+ years of experience within insurance compliance, regulatory affairs, risk management, or insurance operations, including experience researching state insurance laws and regulations and managing insurance department filings

  • Hands-on experience with rate, rule, and form filings and interactions with state Departments of Insurance

  • Strong understanding of insurance regulatory frameworks, compliance programs, and governance practices

  • Experience conducting compliance reviews, audits, risk assessments, and remediation efforts

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field preferred

  • Professional designations such as ARM, ARC, ACP, CCP, AICP, or similar are a plus
