Overview

Sentara Careplex Hospital is hiring an experienced Senior Inpatient Case Manager RN to focus on complex cases!

About the role

Assumes responsibility, accountability and leadership for the daily operations including coordination of work, quality, and service for inpatient case management. Assists supervisor for assigned site/function. Participates in the work activities of assigned teams and provides case management services as needed. Maintains fiscal accountability for departmental activities. Provides feedback on hiring and evaluations of personnel.

Requirements

  • 3 years of nursing experience (required)
  • 3 years Case Management experience (preferred)
  • Healthcare experience refers to the care delivered in one of the following settings: hospital or an acute care facility

Qualifications

  • RN-Bachelor's Degree ORRN-Master's Degree ORRN-Doctorate Degree
  • Certification/Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) License - Compact/Multi-State License ORRegistered Nurse (RN) License - Single State – VirginiaBasic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Case Management (ACM, CCM, CCCTM, CMAC or CMGT-BC) certification required within one year of eligibility
