Senior Injection Mold Maker

About you - What you’ll bring to the table

• Complete OTTO apprenticeship, or 5 to 10 years' experience with Mold making/repair
• Knowledgeable of injection molding tool design
• Proficient with the use of CAD
• Able to run CNC & EDM machines
• Knowledgeable in the use of Surface Grinders and Mills
• Blueprint reading skills
• Sound inspection skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift 50Lbs
• Must be available for overtime when needed

Specifically, we are seeking experience with

• Injection molding tool design
• CAD
• CNC & EDM machines
• Surface grinders and mills
• Blueprint reading

Responsibilities

• Keep a clean and safe work area
• Thorough understanding of tool steels and production materials
• Thorough understanding of Molding tool room equipment
• Thorough knowledge of piece part inspection to quality specifications
• Capable of working from blue prints and/or CAD models to construct, alter, or repair tooling
• Responsible for maintaining and fabrication of molds for the molding department
• Assist in preventative maintenance for molds in the molding department
• Assist in the design of piece parts for manufacturability
• Basic understanding of operation of injection molding
• Assist in ordering supplies in the molding tool room
• Assist with communication of customers
• Assist with on time delivery
• Assist with other related duties as required or assigned

Pay

Target hourly hiring range: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
