About the Role

As a Senior CMDB Infrastructure Engineer, you will be the go-to expert for Tier 3 technical support and strategic implementation of the ServiceNow Discovery toolset. Your mission: ensure full enablement of discovery capabilities, capture critical assets and applications across global sites, and seamlessly integrate this intelligence into the CMDB—mapping interdependencies and relationships to deliver a single source of truth.

What You'll Do

  • Lead Discovery & CMDB Integration: Implement and optimize ServiceNow Discovery to achieve comprehensive visibility of enterprise assets and applications.
  • Drive Innovation: Pilot AI-driven solutions to automate and enhance CMDB governance and discovery processes.
  • Solve Complex Challenges: Provide expert-level troubleshooting for critical production issues and ensure reliable system performance.
  • Plan & Execute Enterprise Projects: Design and deliver major IT infrastructure initiatives, including new technologies and critical upgrades.
  • Collaborate & Influence: Partner with IT teams and vendors to assess risks, resolve issues, and shape technical standards.
  • Mentor & Elevate: Train and guide team members, sharing your expertise to build organizational capability.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience, with 8+ years in technical specialties and 3–4 years in hardware/software configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Deep knowledge of infrastructure design, cloud engineering, networking protocols (TCP/IP, ACCP), performance tuning, debugging, and enterprise IT platforms.
  • Relevant technical certifications or ability to attain within 9 months.
