Senior Industry Liaison - Office of Research

Responsibilities

The Senior Industry Liaison is responsible for building a portfolio of new industry partners and expanding existing industry collaboration with an emphasis on facilitating industry sponsored research utilizing the unique research capabilities, facilities, and intellectual property at FSU. The Senior Industry Liaison supports meetings between FSU research faculty/staff, potential industry partners, and administration. The successful candidate works directly with industry leadership, Deans, Department Chairs, and most importantly with research faculty/staff to match the expertise and facilities at FSU with the needs of industry.

Qualifications

A Master's degree and two years of industry business development or corporate engagement experience, or a Bachelor's degree and four years of experience in industry business development or corporate engagement experience. A Physics or engineering background is preferred.
