Senior Industrial Security Representative/Facility Security Officer
About the role
The Industrial Security Representative (ISR)/FSO supports the Air Force Cloud 1 ACSS contract in Concord, MA. The role involves safeguarding industrial installations, resources, materials, tools, and information, managing classified information and equipment, and ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and analyze programs ensuring adherence to federal laws, regulations, and directives for classification management.
- Manage clearance prescreening, verification, and maintenance, including upgrades or downgrades, crossovers of existing clearances, continuous vetting, and periodic reinvestigations at all clearance levels.
- Manage foreign visitor and facility access, special and restricted access programs, and brief and debrief individuals on requirements and responsibilities of privileged access to sensitive programs.
- Work under the guidance of the Leidos Defense & Intel IT, Business Area Security Manager to implement the industrial security program and ensure company and customer security requirements are met.
- Support the customer by directly interfacing and collaborating with key leaders and customers, safeguarding all assets and information, and processing/manage OSA and access control requirements and visit requests.
- Implement security policies and procedures within the facility, focusing on physical security, information security, OPSEC, and verification of clearances/accesses.
- Interact with and provide security support to DoD officials, coordinate with Leidos security professionals, program managers, capture managers, counterintelligence investigators, and external stakeholders.
- Conduct ISR/FSO duties in areas such as processing Prime and Sub DD254s, escorting uncleared personnel/visitors, maintaining facility checklists, conducting routine inspections, maintaining databases, responding to emerging security-related issues, processing outgoing visit requests, validating incoming visit requests, managing OSA, conducting Personnel Security processing actions, maintaining Personnel Security databases, conducting security self-inspections, applying risk mitigation methodologies, supporting customer assessments, and implementing security measures to meet requirements.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, execute the requirements set forth in the Technology Control Plan (TCP) for foreign visitors, and communicate information security and risk-related concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Communicate with parties within and outside of own area, which may include external constituents depending upon the area, and influence others outside of own area on policies, practices, and procedures.
Requirements
Typically requires a BA degree and 8 - 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 - 10 years of prior relevant experience. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Prior experience as a Facility Security Officer and/or CPSO FSO training certificate for possessing facilities from DCSA. Through working knowledge of the NISPOM, Air Force and other relevant DoD security guidance as well as the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) standards. The position requires a self-motivated candidate that is capable of working in an independent and team environment with minimal direction, customer service orientated. Commitment to security - creating and delivering the highest value to customers. Ability to interpret company and government security policies and apply them to program operations. Strong understanding of Physical Security requirements for OSA and collateral Restricted Areas. Along with working knowledge of SF-86, SF-312, DD-254, SF700, SF702 and other required forms. Thorough understanding of security databases such as SIMS and NISS. Experience creating and conducting initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre/post foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings, as appropriate. Ability to develop and establish an effective security awareness, training, and education program. Assist in executing the requirements set forth in the Technology Control Plan (TCP) for foreign visitors. Communicates with parties within and outside of own area, which may include external constituents depending upon the area. Requires ability to influence others outside of own area on policies, practices, and procedures. Candidate must possess an active Secret clearance. Extensive experience with classified and unclassified networks and facility clearance requirements. Demonstratable experience communicating information security and risk-related concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and demonstrate poise and ability to act calmly and competently in high-pressure, high-stress situations. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are a must. Must be able to work in a constantly changing regulatory environment with short-, mid-, and long-term timelines for remediating any non-compliance. Must be highly organized with excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to proofread for accuracy, completeness, grammar, and format. Computer literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Suite to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access. Excellent time management and multitasking skills. Good planning and organizational skills. Prior experience in Personnel and Industrial Security. COMSEC Custodian certificate or experience.

Pay Range: $82,550.00 - $149,225.00
